Brisbane-based Barry.Nilsson Lawyers have added three lawyers to its insurance and health team.

Jennifer Douglass, admitted in 2008, has solid experience in general insurance litigation, including managing property damage claims for a large telecommunications corporation, advising on matters involving asbestos litigation and defence of personal injury claims.

Also admitted in 2008, Phil Nolan gained experience working for a national firm in both Sydney and Brisbane.

An insurance specialist, he provides strategic legal advice on pre-litigated matters for departments and employers in both the public and private sectors. Nolan has acted for the Commonwealth on appeals in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and the Federal Court of Australia.

Sarah Liddle's insurance experience extends from working for both plaintiff and defendant firms in the areas of motor vehicle accident claims, workers' compensation claims and public liability claims.

At Barry.Nilsson, Liddle will be focusing on professional disciplinary matters, medical negligence claims for medical practices and allied health professionals, and professional negligence claims for solicitors and other professionals.
