Former Piper Alderman partner David McLaughlin has joined Macpherson + Kelley Lawyers' Melbourne office as principal in the employment and industrial relations group.

Joining McLaughlin is third-year lawyer Victoria Hull and legal secretary Jamie Brook.

McLaughlin has over 30 years of experience in industrial relations and employment law. He has appeared in the AIRC (now Fair Work Australia), equal opportunity tribunals and industrial relations jurisdictions of various courts. His clients include manufacturers, insurers, wholesalers and retailers and hospitality and entertainment industry employers.
