Blake Dawson has today (6 July) announced the addition of former Clayton Utz partner Simon Irvine to its Sydney banking and finance practice.

Joining the firm as partner, Irvine brings a wealth of international and domestic project finance experience, having worked on a range of major project financing deals for the energy, resources and infrastructure sectors in Australia, London, Singapore and Hong Kong.

At Clayton Utz, Irvine had lead roles on several significant projects including advising the successful consortium on the Victorian Desalination Project; the Queensland Government regarding the debt financing aspects of the $4.8 billion Airport Link Project; and advising the RTA on refinancing the M2 Motorway Project.
