Brisbane firm HopgoodGanim has appointed solicitor Damian Roe to the firm's resources and energy team.

Roe joins HopgoodGanim from the Queensland Government where he worked as a senior state negotiator with indigenous services at the Department of Environment and Resource Management.

He advises on all aspects of energy and resources law and will specialise in native title, cultural heritage and land access issues for ordinary land tenure.
