HSBC has appointed Bridget Powell as general counsel for HSBC Australia, after spending three years as deputy general counsel.

 
 

CEO for HSBC Australia Paulo Maia says Powell brings "a tremendous amount of legal and compliance experience to her new role".

In her 10 years at HSBC, Powell has held a number of senior positions within HSBC Australia, including head of compliance, senior compliance manager and senior legal adviser.
