Macpherson + Kelley Lawyers has appointed Geoff Farnsworth as a principal, to head up its newly formed national transport and commodities practice.

Farnsworth, who will be based in Sydney, has more than 20 years' legal experience, specialising in both litigious and commercial transport and commodity law. His clients include shipping and transport traders, storage and handlers, manufacturers and exporters, trade financiers and industry associations.

He is joined in the new practice by two lawyers and a support team.
