Two senior lawyers have left McCabe Terrill Lawyers to join the commercial litigation practice of Slater & Gordon in Sydney.

Stephen Moss and Jim Buchanan have both made the move to the listed company, with Slater & Gordon executive director Ken Fowlie describing their arrival as an important step for the firm in NSW.

"Both Stephen and Jim bring many years of experience dealing with challenging and complicated commercial matters," said Fowlie.

Moss was a senior partner at McCabe, having gained extensive experience in commercial litigation and commercial and intellectual property work - particularly in the travel and fashion industries.

Buchanan, meanwhile, brings more than 15 years experience as a senior insolvency lawyer to the firm.
