Specialist insurance firm Gilchrist Connell has lured Jane Schammer to the firm from Minter Ellison.

Schammer joins Gilchrist Connell as a principal it its Adelaide office, bringing with her 17 years' experience in insurance law. The firm has also recently brought on a new senior associate, Melissa Eaton, who is also based in Adelaide.

The firm, which launched in July last year, now comprises 32 insurance law specialists, including seven principals.
