Clayton Utz consultant and international arbitrator Michael Pryles has been appointed as chairman of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre.
He is an expert on International Criminal Court (ICC) and ad hoc arbitrations, and has heard matters under the rules of the London Court of International Arbitration, the Singapore International Arbitration Centre and the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre.
Pryles has extensive experience as a projects lawyer and has been a principal advisor to the former state government in Victoria on restructuring, corporatisation and privatisation in the gaming, electricity and water sectors.
