Corrs has strengthened its health and medical negligence expertise with the appointment of Lisa Harris as a special counsel in Brisbane.

Harris brings to Corrs more than 20 years' experience managing medical negligence claims and has acted continuously for Queensland Health in the defence of claims since 1987.

She worked at Chambers McNab, Tully and Wilson (now Corrs) before becoming a founding partner of TressCox Lawyers Brisbane office and the client liaison partner for Queensland Health.

She has also undertaken medico-legal defence work for private practice doctors through a number of medical defence organisations.
