Trans-Tasman firm Duncan Cotterill has scored a coup for its tax practice, having lured former Minter Ellison partner Mike Aitken across to its Sydney office.

Aitken has been practising law since 1982, and his experience includes time as a partner at both Blake Dawson and Minter Ellison.

Aitken specialises in all aspects of corporate and commercial revenue law advice and litigation. He has particular expertise handling disputes with revenue authorities and he has extensive experience in the conduct of revenue litigation in state and federal courts, as well as in the High Court of Australia.
