Michael Adie has recently been appointed senior associate at TurksLegal. Graduating with a BA/LLB from the University of Newcastle in 1998, Adie went on to work as a claims manager for GIO and Zurich. After five years of industry experience, he joined TurksLegal where he has been a member of the growing general insurance team for the last four years.

Adie specialises in insurance litigation, and has particular expertise in motor claims, property damage and travel insurance, along with advising and representing insurers issuing deposit bonds and similar securities. His previous experience as a claims manager has given Adie an understanding of insurer's needs and objectives and provided him with insights into how he can add value to claims resolution as a lawyer to improve outcomes for clients.
