With substantial experience in commercial dispute resolution, Stephen Humphreys has been elevated to senior associate at Carter Newell. A regular insolvency seminar presenter, Humphreys also specialises in debt recovery, banking and finance litigation.

Joining the construction and engineering team is new senior associate James Williams, an accredited adjudicator who has worked throughout Australia, England and Wales in front end construction. Similarly promoted is Guy Danalis, a key member of the corporate and commercial division. He regularly provides advice to clients on a wide range of corporate issues including mergers and acquisitions.

As an active member of the commercial dispute resolution team, Andrew Cheetham has been promoted to senior associate. He has extensive experience in litigation for both private and public sectors and financial services law. Rising to the same position is Glenn Biggs of the insurance team, his specialty being in insurance litigation, with a focus on property and injury liability for the aviation, energy and petroleum industries.
