Forming a part of the firm’s workplace relations and safety practice, Deacons said Saraceni will help it gain profile and expand.

Described as one of the most prominent practitioners in the field in Western Australia, Saraceni previously led Perth firm Jackson McDonald’s workplace relations practice group.

Deacons has made a number of appointments to its workplace relations and safety practice of late, including former Allens Arthur Robinson partner David Cross, who joined the Sydney team in April, and Aaron Anderson, who came to the Brisbane team as special counsel from Clayton Utz.
