THE CORPORATE and commercial team of Kelly & Co has taken on a new associate in Lisa Jarrett.

Jarrett will be advising on areas such as intellectual property, information technology, and music and entertainment law. She has significant expertise in IP and IT law, having worked in the IP, communications and technology team at a national firm in Melbourne for the past three years, including a one-year secondment to Telstra’s technology legal team.

“Kelly & Co has a highly regarded practice and I am thrilled to join the corporate and commercial team,” Jarrett said.

“I am looking forward to contributing to the firm’s intellectual property and information technology practices, and assisting with building the firm’s client base, both in Adelaide and nationally.”

Andrew Corletto, partner in Jarrett’s new division, said the firm is “delighted to have someone of [Jarrett’s] energy and experience join Kelly & Co”.

“Given the growth we are experiencing both in South Australia and nationally, [Jarrett’s] in-house experience in particular is a valuable addition to our IP/IT team.”
