Queensland firm Bennett & Philp Lawyers has announced the appointments of associate Michele Davis and lawyer Diem-My Hoang-Le.

Ms Davis has joined the firm’s wills and estates practice from ACS Legal Solutions. She has experience in all areas of wills and estates, succession and elder law, according to a statement from Bennett & Philp.

Ms Davis is active in the Queensland succession and elder law community. She is a member of the Queensland Law Society’s succession law committee and has founded the Australian Succession and Elder Lawyers LinkedIn group, which provides a platform for solicitors, barristers, members of the judiciary and anyone else involved in succession and elder law to share information and discuss relevant issues.

Ms Hoang-Le is the newest member of Bennett & Philp’s business and commercial team, joining from Southside Lawyers.

She is an experienced adviser to businesses in areas such as commercial structures, partnerships, start-ups, trusts, and business sales and leases.

Ms Hoang-Le uses her bilingual skills to advise clients in Vietnamese and English. She has worked across a range of practice areas, including commercial, property and immigration law.
