Angus Conolly (pictured) joined Burrows Legal in May this year.

Prior to joining Burrows Legal, Conolly was a Director at executive search agency Lawson Delaney, and legal search firm Carlyle Executive for five years.

"Angus has a proven track record and brings significant experience in the hiring of teams of partners within the Australian market” said Craig Burrows, the managing director of Burrows Legal.

Conolly, who is legally qualified, has a passion for the business of law and an intrinsic understanding of the operations of law firms.

Conolly has been responsible for moving teams of partners, and has a strong expertise in government and regulatory practices, commercial and corporate practices and planning, construction and property practices.

He has facilitated the mergers of three law firms within the Melbourne market and helped national firms grow into new markets, including the hire of six partners and more than 30 staff to establish a new office for a national law firm in Canberra.
