Deal: A research alliance agreement betweenCQUniversity, the University of Queensland, the Queensland University of Technology and Curtin University to share resources and collaborate on publications and research projects.

Deal significance:The agreement has been established under the new Collaborative Research Networks (CRN) program run by the Government's Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research, and is intended to encourage institutions to strengthen their research capacity by teaming up in areas of common interest. CQUniversity will help partnering universities make the most of its engagement with those living and working in regional areas to better their health outcomes.
