October 22, 2002: Tasmanian Supreme Court judge, Justice Peter Underwood, discusses the benefits of technology as an aid to judicial work. He was the driving force behind a conference to provide practical solutions for the "technologically reluctant" practitioners.
"When I came onto the bench, I kept my interest in computers," Underwood said. "Before long I had my laptop, which I use to make notes instead of writing by hand, when I take evidence. It is such an efficient tool..."
