Allens Arthur Robinson has acted for integrated property group Goodman Group on the strategic acquisition of Victoria's Moorabbin Airport and Business Park for $201.5 million.
Goodman Group, comprising the stapled entities Goodman Limited and Goodman Industrial Trust, is the largest industrial property group listed on the Australian Securities Exchange and one of the largest listed specialist fund managers of industrial property and business space globally.
The acquisition, via escrowed securities and vendor finance, provides Goodman Group with a strategic asset, offering immediate investment income and development opportunities in the proven land-constrained market of inner southeast Melbourne.
