The deal is for a multi-year agreement for Global Television to provide the broadcast equipment and market-leading technical expertise for all of Nine's Melbourne studio productions.

Henry Davis York partner Geoffrey Hilton was lead legal adviser on the agreement along with senior associate Peter Mulligan.

Hilton said the agreement was a natural extension of the technical broadcast services relationship between Global Television and Nine, noting that Global Television had already been involved in the production of Hot Seat and The Footy Show for Nine.

Nine's in-house lawyers acted on the deal.
