Matthew Storey, incoming president of the Law Society Northern Territory, outlines his priorities for the profession in 2010.

Storey plans to enhance and develop the services offered to society members, including continued interactive professional development programs, which he concedes can be difficult to keep costs low for, considering their relatively small member base.

He says he will also continue the society's role in addressing the needs of legal aid and prosecution lawyers regarding the interaction of Indigenous communities with the criminal justice system.
