Peter Eardley, incoming president of the Queensland Law Society outlines his key targets for the QLS in 2010, aside from COAG reform.

Eardley says he will enhance the Queensland Law Society's role in delivering Continuing Legal Education and educational materials efficiently and cheaply - particularly to their regionally dispersed member base.

He says he also plans to see out a major refurbishment of the QLS's buildings, develop ties with retired solicitors to better improve access to justice issues, while ensuring that he is creating better support services for members - especially sole practitioners whose health might be impacted by the loneliness such a position can create.
