National consultancy model firm Keypoint Law has added a new consulting principal based in Sydney, who joins from BigLaw firm McCabes.
Keypoint Law has appointed a new consulting principal, who was formerly the head of McCabes’ financial services advisory practice.
Mathew Kaley has more than two decades of experience advising insurance and financial services companies on complex regulatory, commercial and governance matters, and prior to joining McCabes, he was the group general counsel at Allianz.
“Keypoint’s offering of top-tier lawyers across such a broad scope of commercial expertise makes it a very attractive home for my practice. I’m very excited to be joining Warren and the Keypoint Law team,” Kaley said.
This news comes after Keypoint added a second lawyer in Perth in November last year, after expanding into the state earlier in 2024.
CEO Warren Kalinko also spoke to Lawyers Weekly last year about the firm’s substantial growth in the Australian market over the last 10 years.
“Mathew’s joining is a significant and welcome addition to the firm, enhancing our depth in financial services and regulatory law, and further strengthening our ability to serve both large institutional clients and SMEs in these areas,” Kalinko said of Kaley’s appointment.
