Source, the in-house style professional services business under HPX Group (Hamilton Locke’s parent company), has appointed a new chief executive.
Karthik Venkataraman (pictured) has joined Source, bringing two decades of experience in strategy, customer, and digital transformation roles, spanning professional services, publicly listed, private-equity owned, asset-intensive, highly regulated and technology sector organisations.
He has worked, HPX Group said in a statement, at Booz Allen Hamilton, Deloitte, Qualtrics, Citation Group, Asciano and Ausgrid and brings a “360-degree perspective” on navigating business challenges and growth, having been involved in IPO readiness, government regulation, M&A, procurement, commercialisation, service delivery and management, digital and customer transformation, strategy development and execution.
Speaking about the appointment, HPX Group chief executive Nick Humphrey said that Venkataraman was an excellent fit for Source: “Karthik has proven himself to be an exceptionally capable leader in a range of business contexts and roles.
“We’re really pleased he has accepted the Source CEO role and will help take the business to the next level.”

Source provides clients with access to flexible, on-demand managed service solutions for essential in-house functions across legal, human resources, intellectual property, governance, compliance, and risk.
HPX Group, which also owns Hamilton Locke, has nearly 500 employees across offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Newcastle, and Auckland.
