Global law firm HFW has promoted 14 senior associates across the UK, Europe, and Asia-Pacific region, including five in Australia.
HFW has promoted five new senior associates in Australia and a further nine across London, Paris, Greece, Brussels, and Hong Kong.
The promotions continue the firm’s growth across its international network and core sectors, as well as its global aerospace, commodities, corporate and commercial, construction, insurance, and shipping groups.
Effective 1 April, Charlie Gribble and Ryan Craft have been promoted to senior associate in Perth, with Sheree Luo and Thomas Lawler elevated in Sydney and Stephanie Park promoted in Melbourne.
This comes after the addition of a Perth-based commodities partner from HSF in January, as well as the firm’s appointment, earlier that month, of a partner from KWM as a new special counsel for its aviation and asset finance offerings. It also follows the hiring of two special counsel for its insurance practice in November last year and the appointment of a partner from Clifford Chance in October.
The firm also promoted Aoife Mulford, Edward Smith-Suarez, Jack Metherell and Neil Chauhan in London; Julie Hanoun in Paris; Konstantinos Kofopoulos and Lauren Cogley in Piraeus, Greece; Max Hui in Hong Kong; and Nadia Sanchez in Brussels.
Commenting on the promotions, managing partner Jeremy Shebson and senior partner Giles Kavanagh said: “We’d like to congratulate our newest senior associates on their well-deserved promotions. We pride ourselves on being a firm that nurtures talent and celebrates excellence, so it’s always extremely pleasing to see our people progress their careers at HFW.”
