ClarkeKann partner joins Maddocks as a special counsel
National law firm Maddocks has added a special counsel for its dispute resolution and litigation team in Sydney.
Lesly Ann Cho (pictured) has joined Maddocks, having come across from ClarkeKann Lawyers, where she was a partner. Prior to this, she was a practice leader at LegalVision.
She brings, Maddocks said in a statement, more than 12 years of extensive experience in complex commercial litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution, having represented a diverse range of clients across various industries.
The news follows the firm’s addition of a partner for its employment practice last month, the hiring of a partner to lead its competition law practice in December, its poaching of a team of four, including a partner, from Holding Redlich in October, its elevation of four to its partnership in early May, and its promotion of a further 60 professionals later that month.
Speaking about the appointment, Maddocks partner Tim Atkin said: “Lesly’s deep understanding of commercial litigation and her track record in achieving favourable outcomes for clients make her an invaluable addition to our team.
“Lesly’s appointment reflects the firm’s commitment to strengthening our disputes resolution and litigation practice. Our clients will greatly benefit from her expertise and experience, ensuring they receive the highest level of legal support.”
