New partner joins Colin Biggers & Paisley
Colin Biggers & Paisley has added a new partner, who was formerly a senior associate at rival BigLaw firm Herbert Smith Freehills.
National law firm Colin Biggers & Paisley has expanded its construction and engineering practice with the addition of Sam Cooper as a partner.
Cooper was most recently a senior associate at Herbert Smith Freehills and brings extensive experience in energy, infrastructure and government advisory. His expertise spans both the private and public sectors, and he has worked on some of Australia’s largest and most complex energy and infrastructure projects.
“I’m excited to join Colin Biggers & Paisley’s construction and engineering team, due to their leading reputation, results-driven solutions and client-first approach,” he said.
“I look forward to contributing to the firm’s ongoing growth and success.”
This news comes after the firm appointed a new partner to lead its property insurance team earlier this month, as well as the promotion of four, including one to partner, in mid-December.
Commenting on Cooper’s appointment, practice group lead for construction James Neal said: “We are delighted to welcome Sam Cooper to the construction and engineering team. His expertise enhances our team’s capabilities, reinforcing our commitment to delivering exceptional legal solutions across the construction, energy, and infrastructure industry.”
