Hicksons adds 2 partners, brings female partnership representation to 60%
NSW-based commercial firm Hicksons Lawyers has added two new partners to its ranks, strengthening its health and liability claims services offering.
Abby Talbot and Lynette Lagesse have joined Hicksons Lawyers as partners within the firm’s health and liability claims services practice. The firm now has 30 partners, with a 60 per cent female presentation at the partnership level.
Talbot brings over 17 years of experience to the firm, specialising in complex civil liability claims, particularly medical negligence for NSW Health. She was most recently the director of torts at the NSW Crown Solicitor’s Office.
Lagesse joins from the NSW Department of Education, where she led the liability claims team. She brings nearly 30 years of dispute resolution and international experience in personal injury, public liability, medical negligence, and employment law to the firm.
This news comes after the firm promoted four to more senior roles in January. Hicksons managing partner Cameron Leaver said he was excited to have the two new additions on board.
“We are proud to have Abby and Lynette on board,” he said.
“Their in-depth understanding of the health practice and unique expertise will be instrumental in driving our vision, encouraging innovation and excellence in delivering unwavering legal services to our clients.”
