Former BigLaw partner named legal practice director at Plexus
Legal technology provider Plexus has appointed David Smith, a former partner at both Gadens and Corrs Chambers Westgarth, as a legal practice director, as the provider moves to reinforce its legal transformation offerings.

Smith (pictured) brings more than two decades of experience as a law firm partner to the role. He is, Plexus said in a statement, widely recognised for his expertise in intellectual property, consumer law, advertising and marketing law, trade promotions, and privacy law, as well as being a thought leader in marketing compliance and trade promotions.
In his new role, he will help expand Plexus’ rapidly growing marketing compliance division, help customers navigate regulatory complexities more effectively, and look to strengthen Plexus’ position as a trusted partner in regulatory compliance.
