McCabes promotes 11, including naming new partner
National law firm McCabes has elevated 11 team members to more senior roles across its Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth offices.
McCabes has promoted 11 of its legal professionals, including one to partner, three to senior associate, six to associate, and one to financial accountant, across its national offices.
The national law firm explained that this round of promotions reflects its dedication to “fostering professional growth, recognising excellence, and supporting career advancement.”
The promotions became effective on 1 January 2025.
Victoria Branson, from the firm’s Perth office, has been elevated to partner after serving as special counsel for seven months. The firm has stated that she will bring “exceptional leadership and expertise to the firm’s senior ranks”.
The national law firm’s newly promoted special counsel includes Aashna Lohia, Narek Michaelian and Reanna Roberts, all based in the Sydney office. The firm has acknowledged that these promotions reflect their “consistent excellence and ability to navigate complex legal challenges”.
The lawyers that have been promoted to associate are Jacob Goodwin, Tiffany Wong, Lyla Gook, Shannen Mullins, Richard Garrad and Rebecca Schifferli.
Andrew Lacey, the managing principal at McCabes, praised the achievements of all those who received promotions and conveyed his enthusiasm for the potential they will demonstrate in their new roles.
