Colin Biggers & Paisley has elevated four across areas of focus, including the elevation of one Brisbane-based lawyer to partner in the planning government infrastructure and environment group and three Sydney-based Insurance lawyers to senior associate.

Nadia Czachor has been promoted to partner, with Jessica Crollos, Tara Dingle, and Kate Emanuel all promoted to senior associate within the firm’s insurance practice.

Czachor has over 20 years of experience as a solicitor, with extensive experience in conducting complex planning and environment litigation, as well as drafting infrastructure agreements and local planning instruments and advising in respect of planning, environmental, and local government law.

The news follows the firm’s naming of a new deputy managing partner in August, as well as its promotion of 11 professionals, including three to partner in mid-June.

The promotions also continue the swelling of the firm’s insurance ranks over the last 18 months, which was covered extensively last year by Lawyers Weekly. In October this year, the firm also added a partner, two special counsel, a solicitor, and a legal assistant from Clyde & Co to its insurance practice.

Commenting on the promotions, managing partner Nick Crennan said: “This round of promotions showcases the great depth and significant talent of our current group of lawyers and their dedication to our clients, colleagues, and communities. We continue to invest in our industries of focus with talented people and a continued commitment to fostering excellence in the legal profession.”
