Holding Redlich promotes 3 to partner
National law firm Holding Redlich has elevated three lawyers to its partnership.
Alana Giles, Jessica Tsiakis, and Guy Munasinghe (all pictured) have been promoted to the partnership of Holding Redlich.
Giles, who began her legal career as an articled clerk with the BigLaw firm, is its newest dispute resolution and litigation partner. She specialises in retail leasing and property disputes, corporate crime, regulatory investigations, and complex commercial disputes.
Tsiakis is also a new partner in the firm’s dispute resolution and litigation practice and acts for large corporations in multi-party commercial disputes and represents smaller companies, businesses, and individuals, with a practice that spans ASIC investigations and prosecutions, white-collar crime, and insurance coverage advice and litigation.
Munasinghe is the firm’s newest partner in property, planning, and development, bringing more than 14 years of experience in commercial, industrial, and retail leasing across multiple jurisdictions. He advises clients on national property portfolios and offers counsel on complex leasing issues for shopping centre owners, state and local governments, asset management firms, and investment funds.
Giles and Tsiakis are based in Melbourne, while Munasinghe is based in Brisbane.
The news follows the election of one of the firm’s partners as the new president of the Australian branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in October, its addition of a corporate and commercial partner from BigLaw rival HWL Ebsworth in August, its naming of two state managing partners for NSW and the ACT, as well as for Victoria, in the same month, as well as the promotion of two female lawyers to the partnership, alongside 27 others to more senior positions across the country, in early July.
Speaking about the promotions, national managing partner Troy Lewis said: “Alana, Jessica, and Guy each bring expertise, commitment, and vision to the firm.
“Their promotions strengthen our teams and ensure we remain well-equipped to deliver outstanding advice and service to our clients across Australia.”
