Carter Newell promotes 3
Carter Newell has bolstered its insurance practice with the promotion of three to more senior positions.
Three female lawyers have been elevated within Carter Newell’s insurance team – one senior associate and two associates.
Emily Holzberger has been elevated to senior associate, focusing on professional liability, and Alexandra McGrath and Rebecca Woodrow have been promoted to associate within general liability.
This comes after the news earlier this month that planning, local government and environmental lawyer Fraser Hardman had been appointed as a partner.
Chair of partners Paul Hopkins congratulated the three lawyers on their promotions.
“Congratulations to Emily, Alexandra and Rebecca on the culmination of their specialist skills and dedication to client needs,” he said.
CEO Marc Walker added that the firm would continue to support the development of its people.
“We’re proud to ‘grow our own’ talent within our team. Our lawyers learn through exposure to a high calibre and complexity of work, along with professional development and learning opportunities, and mentoring from some of Australia’s best lawyers among our senior team,” he said.
“Not only does this foster a more positive work environment, but [it] supports us in delivering excellence for clients.”
