Maurice Blackburn adds principal to lead Gold Coast practice

National plaintiff law firm Maurice Blackburn has added a new principal lawyer to lead its Gold Coast practice, who joins from Creevey Horrell Lawyers.

Maurice Blackburn has a appointed new principal lawyer, Tom Rynders, as the office leader of its Gold Coast practice.

Rynders will work from the Maurice Blackburn Palm Beach and Southport offices and brings more than 15 years of experience in compensation law to the firm. He became a Queensland Law Society accredited specialist in 2015 and was most recently a partner at Queensland firm Creevey Horrell Lawyers.

“I am thrilled to have joined Maurice Blackburn, a firm that shares my commitment to justice and client advocacy,” he said.

“I look forward to contributing to the firm’s mission of providing exceptional legal service and making a real difference in people’s lives.”

Director at Maurice Blackburn and head of the firm’s Queensland and Northern Territory road injury, work injury and public liability practices, Michelle James, said that Rynders would be a valuable addition to the team.
