Guided AI Review is a locally hosted, tailor-made AI solution which combines custom algorithms with seasoned, AI-trained document review experts to deliver faster, higher-quality results in document review for the legal profession.

By blending built-for-review AI tools with experienced, hands-on human experts called “AI Guides”, the solution mitigates common risks around the use of AI in law firms and corporate law departments, including inaccurate results and unintentionally perpetuated biases.

This hybrid approach offers a robust solution for legal professionals who seek the advantages of AI without the unpredictability of technology-only AI systems. Not only do these AI Guides ensure accuracy and mitigate risk, but each work hand-in-hand with clients to ensure reviews are as efficient as possible and meet each client’s unique needs, according to Consilio CEO Andy Macdonald (pictured).

“For the past two years, we’ve seen firsthand that AI solutions in the legal industry are best when built on a foundation of human expertise,” he said.

“It’s not just about leveraging technology – it’s about ensuring accuracy, ethics, and trust. With the continued exponential growth of data volumes and growing complexity in legal matters, we believe the intersection of AI and human oversight is the future of legal reviews. Our Guided AI Review solution provides exactly that for Fortune 500 legal departments and leading law firms.”

Key features of Guided AI Review include hands-on AI Guides with extensive experience, private and secure data storage, customised AI engines and proprietary models which are continually updated and customised and proven quality control and reliability – all of which address the current “trust gap” in AI, according to chief technology and innovation officer, Raj Chandrasekar.

“Our Guided AI Review addresses the trust gap that has long existed in AI solutions,” he said.

“After extensive development, this offering exemplifies the perfect blend of human and AI collaboration, delivering efficiency without compromising accuracy – an essential requirement for today’s legal practices.”

Building on this launch, partner providers of Guided AI Review will also soon also be able to bring Consilio’s Guided AI Review to their clients through a new Consilio AI Partners (CAP) program, making Consilio’s Guided AI toolset available via API wherever clients want to work.
