After spending more than 15 years at King & Wood Mallesons, Melissa Miller has joined McCullough Robertson Lawyers as a partner in the digital and IP team.

Miller was most recently a senior associate at KWM, where she gained experience in commercial transactions encompassing intellectual property, technology, privacy and data protection, trademarks, copyright, consumer law, food law and regulatory matters, across food and agribusiness and consumer sectors.

This news comes after the promotion of 12 to more senior positions earlier this year – and McCullough Robertson joint managing partner Damien Clarke said that this addition would help the firm continue to grow its presence in Sydney.

“Melissa’s appointment is extremely exciting for our domestic and international clients and our Sydney office, building on the recent additions of Kara Mezinec, Mark Riddington, Natalie Kurdian, Kate Peterson, Chris Barr, Nathan Roberts and Stephen Iu to the Sydney partnership,” he said.

“The ongoing growth of our Sydney office is integral to the future of McCullough Robertson as we adapt to and support our clients in a world of constant change.”

McCullough Robertson chair of partners Kristan Conlon said: “I am delighted to welcome Melissa to the partnership as we continue to expand our Sydney offering and advance our commitment to promoting women in leadership.

“Since 1926, we have prided ourselves on being approachable experts who relate to and support our clients and our people, always. I know our people will benefit from Melissa’s focus on mentorship and development, and I am looking forward to collaborating with her.”
