Darren Pereira and Charles Power (both pictured) have been appointed as the state managing partners in NSW and the ACT, and Victoria, respectively, at national law firm Holding Redlich.

Pereira heads up the firm’s national corporate and commercial group, while Power is the head of the firm’s national workplace relations and safety group.

They join national managing partner Troy Lewis and Queensland-based managing partner Rachel Drew in the firm’s senior leadership team.

The news follows the firm’s promotion of two female lawyers to the partnership, alongside 27 others to more senior positions across the country, in early July.

It also follows the addition of a new WHS partner in April this year, as well as the firm’s appointment of a special counsel from lawyerbank as a new partner in mid-December and the hiring of a special counsel from MinterEllison as a partner in mid-November.

Lewis said: “Darren, Charles and Rachel are outstanding lawyers who have built very successful practices and lead highly engaged teams.”

“Our refreshed leadership team, executive committee and partnership are already well underway in executing the next stage of the firm’s strategic plan.”
