Keith Robinson (pictured) has joined JWS as a partner, bringing more than 25 years of experience acting for major private sector clients in a diverse range of industries, including technology, telecommunications, financial services, energy, aviation and transport and logistics.

Prior to joining the firm, Robinson had been running his own advisory business, and also previously led the TMT at HSF.

The news follows the firm’s promotion of 13 professionals to more senior roles last month, as well as its hiring of a TMT partner from Bird & Bird in May, adding a special counsel from Baker McKenzie in early April, an environment and planning special counsel from Corrs in the same month, and a special counsel for its energy and resources team in March.

Speaking about the hire, JWS managing partner Jeremy Davis said: “JWS is seeing significant growth in the technology sector, and we are delighted to have one of Australia’s best-known technology lawyers join our team.”

Robinson said: “JWS has an impressive team delivering excellent outcomes for high-calibre clients. I am excited at the prospect of working with the team to continue to grow its practice.”
