After two and a half years at the firm, working on commercial litigation, general commercial, and insolvency matters, Mike Chenoweth was promoted to the role of equity partner.

Commenting on the promotion, managing principal Alex Nicol said the “inherently modest” Chenoweth has aspired to “continuously improve and grow as a professional”.

“This promotion is a credit to his hard work and understanding of the KPIs essential to being both a great lawyer and a business owner.

“Mike has a strong and loyal client base, and his practice certainly embodies our ‘legal partners for life’ slogan,” Nicol said.

Chenoweth has worked for a range of clients, including public and private corporate entities, aged-care providers, professional service providers and private clients.

He has joined other equity partners Nicol, Dylan Burch, Julie Maxfield, Lizia Lim, and Paolo Tatti.

“He has shown the trust and respect of the whole firm, and I am personally thrilled to have Mike as a fellow owner as we continue our growth trajectory,” Nicol said.
