JWS, which now boasts over 450 staff, including 85 partners, has elevated 13 lawyers to more senior roles in its July 2024 promotions round.

The firm’s new special counsel are Madeleine Bright, Adeline Brosnan, Luci Guyot, and Sophie Wade.

Its newest senior associates are Ondine Baker, Claudia Boccaccio, Louise Dinnie, Nick Haenel, Gina Iskander, Kenneth Allars Kurien, Niki Powell, Nathan Ricardo, and Andrew Antoun.

The news follows a string of senior appointments by the BigLaw firm, including adding a TMT partner from Bird & Bird in May, a special counsel from Baker McKenzie in early April, an environment and planning special counsel from Corrs in the same month, a special counsel for its energy and resources team in March, and an IP special counsel, also from Corrs, as a new partner in October.

Speaking about the promotions, JWS managing partner Jeremy Davis (pictured) said: “We are delighted to announce these well-deserved appointments.

“Our new special counsel and senior associates have demonstrated exceptional performance and commitment to our clients.”
