Hive Legal promotes new associate principal
After joining the firm as the first graduate, Hive Legal has promoted a new lawyer to its senior leadership team.
After joining Hive Legal in 2015 as a graduate, Rachel Varghese has now been promoted to associate principal at the firm.
“When I first joined Hive as a graduate, I was so excited to be a part of a firm whose values I so strongly believed in. Fast forward over eight years, and it has been incredible to see Hive grow and thrive, without ever compromising on its purpose – providing top-tier services in a way that puts our people and clients first,” she said.
“It has been a privilege to be a part of this growth and to work with such a talented and supportive team. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute even more to the leadership of Hive going forward.”
Since its inception 10 years ago, Hive Legal has continued to grow, with the firm prioritising career development, according to principal Andrew Brookes.
“Rachel thrives on finding practical and commercial solutions to complex problems. It is a rare skill set, and one that is invaluable to Hive, our clients, and our community as Australia enters the next phase of its net zero transition,” he said.
“Her assumption of a senior leadership role in the firm is testament to both Rachel’s hard work and the benefits of Hive’s unique approach to career development for everyone who works here.”
