Norton Rose Fulbright promotes 34 senior lawyers

Global firm Norton Rose Fulbright promoted 34 of its senior lawyers into the positions of special counsel and senior associate.

Effective from this month, Norton Rose Fulbright (NRF) promoted eight lawyers from its Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane offices to senior counsel and another 26 to senior associate.

Commenting on the promotions, Australian chief executive partner Alison Deitz said: “These talented lawyers stood out for their decision to our firm and for the skill and effort they have demonstrated in pursuing opportunities and resolving issues for clients.

“My fellow partners and I congratulate them on reaching these important career milestones and thank them for the value they bring to our firm and its clients in Australia and around the world.”

While the majority of the senior associate promotions occurred in the Sydney office, lawyers in Canberra, Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane and one based in Jakarta, Indonesia were also elevated.

The senior lawyers work within banking and finance, commonwealth government, corporate mergers and acquisitions, employment, environment and planning, litigation and disputes, and more.
