DCC and DCCL announce sixteen promotions for 2024
Leading Intellectual Property firm Davies Collison Cave and Davies Collison Cave Law have today announced the promotion of sixteen individuals across six offices.
Leading Intellectual Property firm Davies Collison Cave (DCC) and Davies Collison Cave Law (DCCL) have today announced the promotion of sixteen individuals across their Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong offices.
New DCC principals include Dr Claire Gregg, Jillian Lim and Dr Simone Vink.
Dr Claire Gregg (Melbourne) is a registered Patent Attorney. Claire specialises in assisting clients to obtain patent protection for innovations in the chemical and pharmaceutical fields, including securing extensions of patent term for pharmaceutical patents. She also conducts patent oppositions and procedural hearings before the Australian and New Zealand Offices, provides advice in relation to patent strategy, validity and infringement, and assists in patent litigation. Claire is heavily engaged with the global IP community, including as a Council member of IPTA.
Jillian Lim (New Zealand) is a registered Patent Attorney. She assists local and overseas clients with patent and design procurement and strategic IP portfolio management. Jillian specialises in preparing and prosecuting patent applications across diverse technical fields including medical and surgical devices, mechanical engineering, manufacturing and packaging processes, building and construction, and renewable energy technologies.
Dr Simone Vink (Brisbane) is a registered Patent Attorney. Simone specialises in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in a range of areas including pharmaceutical and medicinal chemistry, agrochemistry, biotechnology and biochemistry. She provides clients with advice on patent strategy and portfolio management that is tailored to their specific research and commercial objectives, in addition to advice on patent validity and infringement.
Singapore based Patent Agent Jie An Yang has also been elevated to Associate Principal.
Dr Jie An Yang (Singapore) is a registered Patent Agent, specialising in chemistry and materials science. He assists clients with managing their patent portfolios, prosecutes patent applications and advises on commercialization issues such as freedom-to-operate, validity and infringement.
Additional elevations across DCC include Zoe Chang (Brisbane), Angie Chen (Melbourne), Janette Li (Hong Kong), Taryn Lovegrove (Brisbane) and Linda Xu (Melbourne) to Senior Associate; and of Rory Campbell (Melbourne), Dr Lyn Chan (Melbourne), Emma Hegarty (Melbourne) and Judy King (Sydney) to Associate.
DCCL also announced the elevation of Dr Thomas Dysart (Melbourne) to Senior Associate; and of Darci Bucheli (Melbourne) and Daisy Eales (Melbourne) to Associate.
