Gilchrist Connell has promoted four lawyers to special counsel, five to senior associate, and three to associate in its latest promotions round.

The firm’s new special counsel are Kate Kellendonk, Jade Wishart, Myles Bryant, and James Reid.

Its new senior associates are Isabella Fyfe, Naomi Schlaepfer, Claudio Trovato, Linda Zeng, and Louisa Henderson.

The firm’s new associates are Henry Baker, Gabrielle Inga, and Caspar Hawke.

All promotions were effective as of 1 July.

The news follows the firm’s naming of two new principals in late June, its hiring of four new special counsel in early June, and its addition of three senior lawyers from BigLaw rival Colin Biggers & Paisley in mid-June.

Speaking about the promotions, Gilchrist Connell managing principal Richard Wood said: “There is nothing more rewarding than witnessing our people grow professionally, and I’m pleased to acknowledge their hard work in this way.

“These 12 promotions, in addition to the 1 July 2024 elevations of two principals, evidence a healthy crop of emerging talent within our firm.”
