KWM promotes 82

International law firm King & Wood Mallesons has promoted 82 across its legal and shared services teams, including 14 special counsel and 47 senior associates.

Effective today (1 July), KWM has promoted a total of 82 employees, including 61 lawyers, to more senior positions.

This news follows the promotion of nine partners in June, as well as the appointment of industrial relations and employment law partner Cilla Robinson from BigLaw rival Clayton Utz earlier this year.

Commenting on the promotions, KWM chief executive partner Australia Renae Lattey said these appointments will bolster the firm across a variety of key areas.

 
 

“We congratulate all 82 individuals on these well-earned promotions. Together with our nine new partners, these promotions build on the firm’s focus on offering career pathways and developing our future leaders,” she said.

“We look forward to seeing them continue to sharpen their edge and have a positive impact on our clients, our firm and communities.”

The newest special counsel at the firm are Yiwen Chen, Laurice Elten, Steven Halls, Heather Huddleston, Matthew Kaminsky, Emma Kay, Stephanie Murphy, Emma Newnham, Sue Soueid, Marissa Todkill, Kathryn Tomasic, Gemma Twemlow, Charles Westh and Marcus Wettenhall.

In addition, the following have been promoted to senior associate: Callum Albury, Jack Anderson, Edward Basha, Laura Bernhardt, Morgan Clune, Adriana Costanzo, James D’Alessandro, Christina Dickinson, Vivien Ding, Ha Dinh, Deniz Ektem, Molly Flynn, Andrew Fong, Giorgia Fraser, Tahnee Gibson, Thomas Haggerty, Ethan Hyde, Riley Ingham, Gabrielle Jack, Laura Jackson, Michaela Johnston, Richard Karaba, Sarah Lethlean, Marc Leung, Juliana Macula, Sebastian Marr, Kendall Mutton, Jordan Osrin, Philippa Robinson, Michael Salvaris, Chelsey Schroeter, Andrea Shan, Jessie Shu, Eliezer Solomon, Naomi Synnott, Shenn Tan, Adeline Technitis, Emily Travers-Jones, Nicola Wang, Allison Warrier, Kelly Williamson, Olivia Wright, Tiffany Yang, Alexandra Yapanis, Wendy Yuan, Vicky Zhang and Stella Zhao.
