Piper Alderman has promoted 22 lawyers and two business services professionals to more senior roles.

Its newest partner is James Hill, who is based in the firm’s Melbourne office and works in its national corporate team.

The new special counsel at Piper Alderman are Christine Lim, John Evans, and Stephen Kyrou.

Its newest senior associates are Sean Felthouse, Lucie Lawrence-Wall, James Linton, Lewis Ringwaldt, Jennifer Turner, and Tom Wallace.

Its new associates are Alie Bradley, Annabelle Burgess, Olivia De Angelis, Michael De Palma, Bonnie Doyle, Luke Higgins, Mandy Hsieh, Jake Huang, Merna Isaac, Tom Kaldis, Georgia Minson, and Spike Woods.

In the firm’s business services team, Amelia Giannopoulos has been elevated to brand and communications manager, and Emma Young has been appointed as national human resources coordinator.

All promotions are effective as of 1 July.

The news follows the firm’s hiring of a commercial property partner from fellow national firm HopgoodGanim earlier this month, its appointment of a new partner for the firm’s projects, infrastructure, and construction team back in early April, its promotion of 16 professionals to more senior positions at Piper Alderman at the end of December, and the addition of a Perth-based partner at the end of November.

Speaking about the promotions, the firm’s acting managing partner, Tim O’Callaghan, said: “Our promotions this July reflect the excellence and dedication of our team members throughout Piper Alderman.

“The substantial expansion that the firm has achieved in the last 12 months was only possible because of the effort and input of these people.

“We are honoured to work with them and appreciate their work.”
