National law firm Corrs Chambers Westgarth has elevated four lawyers to its partnership, across three of its offices on the east coast.
Corrs Chambers Westgarth has added to its national partnership, naming Frieda Chan (commercial litigation and class actions, Sydney), Franka Cheung (energy and natural resources, Brisbane), Caitlin Chiu (banking and finance, Melbourne), and Kirsty Davis (environment and planning, Sydney) as its newest partners.
“We are confident they will make a great contribution as Corrs partners and look forward to their ongoing success at the firm.”
The news follows the firm’s reappointment, in mid-February, of MacLaren as its chief executive and senior partner until 2033 and its appointment of a debt capital markets partner from BigLaw rival King & Wood Mallesons in mid-January.
It also follows confirmation from workplace regulator SafeWork NSW late last month that it was “making inquiries” into Corrs in response to allegations of psychosocial hazards.
