Legal management software company Xakia has released a new tool for legal departments, allowing them to make data-driven decisions in an “unprecedented” way.

Xakia’s new ProReports feature allows in-house lawyers and legal departments to automate intelligent insights and is aimed at changing the way legal teams access and utilise legal analytics.

This comes after the release of Xakia’s landmark In-House Legal Capacity Dashboard last month, following the release of the self-serve contract management tool in March and the launch of another new tool to help legal teams overhaul external spend tracking in February this year.

ProReports allows legal teams to automate reports with intelligent insights across delivery insights, which provides a comprehensive view of how a legal team delivers on its work; prioritisation analysis, which provides insights into how a legal team prioritises its workload and includes recommendations for more effective prioritisation strategies; and resource allocation, which considers legal team allocation of resources across internal, external, and automated channels, with actionable insights for optimising resource allocation.

Xakia founder and chief executive Jodie Baker said these insights can help drive efficiency within in-house teams.

“In-house legal department leaders understand that legal analytics are critical for effective decision making. However, the overwhelming and time-consuming nature of data analysis – from collection, through visualisation and analysis, and even into actionable storytelling – often limit their ability to fully utilise its power,” she said.

“With Xakia’s ProReports, general counsel and other legal leaders can automate the generation and delivery of insights derived from legal data, allowing them to move immediately to strategic initiatives that maximise the impact of their legal teams.”

Xakia’s Auto Reports can also set up recurring reports, streamlining the process of report generation and distribution and ensuring that relevant stakeholders receive data-driven stories about legal department delivery and strategic value, without manual intervention.
