Based in Melbourne, new consulting principal Tony Grujovski joins from IP specialist firm By George Legal, where he was special counsel.

With more than a decade of legal experience, Grujovski’s expertise covers handling a wide range of IP matters. This includes managing sizable national and international trademark portfolios, advising on enforcement and infringement of IP rights, handling disputes and litigation across all types of IP, and managing trademark oppositions and domain name disputes. He acts for clients across a broad range of IP-focused sectors, including creative agencies, food and beverage manufacturers, personal care brands, hospitality businesses and designers.

“I’m excited to be joining a firm offering an alternative to the traditional law firm model, where I can develop my personal brand as an IP expert for creatively driven businesses,” Grujovski said.

“I’m looking forward to collaborating with the other lawyers in the Keypoint cohort and the management team.”

This appointment brings the total number of partner-level lawyers in the firm to 72, a 20 per cent increase since March 2023.

Keypoint chief executive Warren Kalinko congratulated Grujovski on his new role.

“Tony has developed a niche and highly relevant expertise, servicing the rapidly growing and diverse creative sector with a knowledgeable and forward-thinking approach,” he said.

“His experience in all aspects of intellectual property and trademarks is a valuable addition to the firm and to our clients, and we are delighted to have him on board.”
